God and Suffering
and if you have EVER wondered
why?
why do these things happen
where is God in all of this?
if there is one?

you can download and listen while you go to work
or whatever
it takes about 40 minutes to listen to

commit to it
make the time
it will challenge
and refresh your thinking

the pace is fast and you do need to sit up and
pay attention
he packs a lot in

what I love
is that he teaches about
who God is

not who you think He is
or want him to be
just because you want to
or some family member told you

but are taught from the bible form the point of
who the bible says Jesus is
and that matters

at least get your information correct
and then turn your nose up at it
but do it from an informed

perspective
you WILL be surprised by what you hear

and maybe some hope and healing
can occur
in the broken lives around you (and me)

The Blu Last Summer

just wish it was this easy to go and purchase one of these
but then again,
many might want to return theirs ........

she has been begging us for a mini dog
one her size
one she could walk
and not run the risk of losing her life
(like she does with Bella and Molly)

is the dogs name
not the most attractive
but she is willing to
be a tiny dog walker
while she waits til we concede

can you image her poster of advertisement?
I fear for our neighborhood dogs

the move has been trying with respect to home
organization
moving rooms
house issues

I struggle with organization
I've read the books
I'd talked to the experts in my life
but I fail daily
I just want a place for everything so
when it has to go away it has some place to go
and
I want it to look cute
I don't want expense
that is too much pressure
I love finding what I need at some 2nd hand shop
but that means
I can't have what I desire
overnight
the daily mission is chore
everyone doing what is required
when it is required without my opening my mouth!
ha!
I have embraced many different chore systems
but my latest just might produce the results
I am desiring
I hope i will remember to post a photo :)
just hoping it is helpful for anyone else out there

I have put it together but little people keep stealing it
which makes it difficult
if anyone else has systems that help them
I would love to see some! please email them to me:)

I am missing H.H.
9 more days to go
it is hard not to share the daily goings on
of our wee family with him

a remember a while ago thinking
if I don't share what I did today
I won't tomorrow
because it is past
I needed to share it the day it happened

then I thought
isn't that living our lives together..daily?
if we are only catch up on the weekends
we've missed so much
not necessarily the details or the facts
but how the details and facts changed us or
challenged us
how we felt the Holy Spirit leading or convicting
I find that stuff hard to articulate 7 days later
I suppose that is why some journal
another one of those things I wish I did

another one of those examples of living for today
in case tomorrow doesn't come ...

for safety
for creativity
for equipment to run smoothly
for fun and friendship

for Gods' story to be told

gracious way....

Sweet Neighbours of mine

So much going on around this place
the biggest being H.H. is getting ready to leave for
Africa
gone for 2 weeks
boy, will we miss him
we will know more about when this film project
will be going to the next level
which means
Africa here we come...
as a family
for quite a while
maybe a year
maybe some kids will come back with us?

maybe we will have a babe there?

Getting ready for the scavenger hunt...

I am always humbled and brought back to my senses
when I read those stories
of families losing a child
I just read one this morning

it humbles me
and reminds me what I am here for today
to glorify Him
to love others because He loves them
they could be gone tomorrow

do I need a balance of funerals and
life celebrations?
or do I just need to celebrate life
today
the funerals will come
they always do
until then
loving today
and the ones I have to share it with
the hope I have in eternity
the invitation that is given to all
I pray my kids choose it

and through all of it

I 've had to continually remind myself
of this verse
do not worry about ANYTHING
as I have been worrying about much this week
I've had to just stop
STOP! and recite these words
over and over
He knows
his plans are not mine
He has got it all in control
not me
I just need to stop and take the time
and think on these things

this has been our memory verse
this week as it has applied
to the kids in all the new things
they've been doing

His truth the only truth
is only thing
that settles my heart and mind

what joy and freedom
that truly is!!
