Last Wednesday...add on

forgot to add this on to the other post
I found this note
taped onto a bike pump

Lady May was preserving her gymnastics course

a love reading their notes
she leaves many around the house
projects she has started

many not completed
she has a creator mind

Last Wednesday

technically it is Sunday night but
I will complete this "Last Week" project..I WILL!!

the trail of pillows
for gymnasts only I am told

do you buy nice throw pillows?
only to be picking them up 500 times a day
and white?
and I nuts?
I have gone in fits and spurts
removing them form time to time
as I get tired of picking them up
yet the kids have so much creating wee games with them
and then I am left to ask
why do spend any money on toys????

at least we got smart and got a leather couch
very wipeable, any bodily function mishap
can come of these babies

good-bye front room
I actually won't miss this room...lol...

Last Tuesday

Our sweet loft school room we will miss you:(
I still have Wed.-Sat. pics to sort through
still packing
took down the trampoline today
my heart is feeling heavy
but c'mon
I feel quite pathetic even saying these things
look at the material blessings we live with
boo hoo me
I am going from one wonderful home to another
COME ON PEOPLE
why would I be heavy about any of it!???
we are so many blessings
so there I am done
no more
I thankful, grateful and thankful some more
for all that I have
for all I get to do each day
to live in a free country
to have freedom abound
so now
let's go make some differences somewhere
each of us, living like today was our last
how will live it then?

my family motto

"people before things"

as a side note...my family motto contradicts Hot Husbands (a bit),
his is

"throw it out and buy a new one"

and his even has a theme song!
so
we're in counseling:)

The New Dress and our Last Monday

sigh......

new Easter dresses from Grandma...thanks G.
Blu loved hers so much that she wore it to bed so
she would be ready to get up and go the next day

a tactic I admire
and when you are 3
you can do that

I wanted to do a count down of our last week here
at this house
so here is the last Monday

on our front ledge the girls were feeling
like pictures
well
they really are most of time
thankfully

they packed their rooms today
ran around in the sunshine
in their barefeet
and spent a wonderful night with neighbours up the street
we will miss this place

on another note, of course
Easter keeps becoming more and more
overwhelming for me
how can I bare to think of Christ dying for me
I find it takes my breath a way
I finally got up the courage to watch
The Passion of the Christ
during this time
I couldn't watch it when it came out 6 years ago
I could barely watch it
I think I cried through the whole movie

the love of God
God is love

that is it...God is Love
like I would lay my life down for any of children
He lay down His life for his..us
and I am overwhelmed, transformed, unburdened,
full of hope, joy, peace and set free

at church on Sunday, resurrection Sunday,
the day Jesus rises from the dead and
overcomes death
so we are set free from religion
and can enter into a relationship with Him
with God himself...

our Pastor explains Christ's offering beautifully

it is like Jesus getting down on one knee and asking
us to marry Him
to enter into a life long relationship
that never ends,
our baggage we come with is healed
and the gift of grace and mercy and forgiveness that Jesus comes with
is freely given
all we have to do is say yes

it is best to just go listen yourself
as he is far more detailed and in depth than I

on another note

our memory verse this week is

"do nothing out of selfish ambition
or vain conceit
but in humility consider others
better than yourselves"

phillipians 2:3

we are seriously working on this and will be for the rest of our days
somedays, especially Mondays, our home one big counseling session
very draining
very hard
and very disappointing
relational dynamics is so multi layered
so complex, so beautiful
and so amazing (when I am not in the thick of conflict)
I do love psychology
but not on Mondays
btw
our chalk board is in the kitchen
which makes it helpful
as we spend a lot of time there

now...all I have to do is learn how to cook!!!
