A Sweet little prayer answered

it has been so hot this week
sooo hot
and Blu had an idea this morning
rather than help me paint for the 3rd day in a row
she wanted to play at a little friends house
who happens to have a pool

ya know, you are trying to teach you can't just invite yourself
over to someone else's house without asking
not polite
what does she care she is just so hot
(our air conditioning keeps turning off)
so I said, "Let's pray about it"
so here is her prayer...

"God, I pray Katie will call me
and invite me swimming today,
Amen"

(ok, I am dying a little)

about an hour goes by and the phone rings
and she yells, "It's Katie!"
before I had even picked it up

and lo and behold....it was!
inviting Blu to come for a swim
lol

and she says,
"Thank-you God"

I just hope my sweet neighbour knows we really do
enjoy them whether or not they have a pool:):)

The new girls!

the dolly has been gone for a week and
I can hardly stand it
I miss her mischief believe it or not
I can hardly believe I said that.....
but she is mine and I am missing her sweet voice
I think she will be different when I see her next
this is going to be longest she has ever been away
I think she is growing up
God, please stop the clocks, it is going too fast!

here is the "bloop" after our sprinkler trampoline jumping tonight
some of the kids came home tonight
boy did we miss them
berry and bubs are back in the house
and my heart is happier

well, here they are........
Molly in the chocolate and Bella is the black one

they got into a bit of mischief tonight
while the girls and I were jumping on the trampoline
with the sprinkler running underneath it
(it has been sooooooo hot here this last week)

we didn't notice the huge mud puddle that was welling up
right underneath but

the the pooches did
and then all of a sudden
we had pigs not pooches

little piglets diving face first, deep down into the mud holes

tomorrow I have to rip the one and only carpet
in the house
why?
oh, that is because it has been crapped on 4times and then
peed on 5 times in the last 14 days
adding that up works out to be 9 times more that I had ever
wanted
