sigh......
new Easter dresses from Grandma...thanks G.
Blu loved hers so much that she wore it to bed so
she would be ready to get up and go the next day
a tactic I admire
and when you are 3
you can do that
I wanted to do a count down of our last week here
at this house
so here is the last Monday
on our front ledge the girls were feeling
like pictures
well
they really are most of time
thankfully
they packed their rooms today
ran around in the sunshine
in their barefeet
and spent a wonderful night with neighbours up the street
we will miss this place
on another note, of course
Easter keeps becoming more and more
overwhelming for me
how can I bare to think of Christ dying for me
I find it takes my breath a way
I finally got up the courage to watch
The Passion of the Christ
during this time
I couldn't watch it when it came out 6 years ago
I could barely watch it
I think I cried through the whole movie
the love of God
God is love
that is it...God is Love
like I would lay my life down for any of children
He lay down His life for his..us
and I am overwhelmed, transformed, unburdened,
full of hope, joy, peace and set free
at church on Sunday, resurrection Sunday,
the day Jesus rises from the dead and
overcomes death
so we are set free from religion
and can enter into a relationship with Him
with God himself...
our Pastor explains Christ's offering beautifully
it is like Jesus getting down on one knee and asking
us to marry Him
to enter into a life long relationship
that never ends,
our baggage we come with is healed
and the gift of grace and mercy and forgiveness that Jesus comes with
is freely given
all we have to do is say yes
it is best to just go listen yourself
as he is far more detailed and in depth than I
on another note
our memory verse this week is
"do nothing out of selfish ambition
or vain conceit
but in humility consider others
better than yourselves"
phillipians 2:3
we are seriously working on this and will be for the rest of our days
somedays, especially Mondays, our home one big counseling session
very draining
very hard
and very disappointing
relational dynamics is so multi layered
so complex, so beautiful
and so amazing (when I am not in the thick of conflict)
I do love psychology
but not on Mondays
btw
our chalk board is in the kitchen
which makes it helpful
as we spend a lot of time there
now...all I have to do is learn how to cook!!!
